Who Am I?
Some of my Highlights
Every lacemaker is caught in the beginning by some kind of lace. When time pass we become more exigent and our goals change. Although my first step in bobbin lace was torchon, Milanese lace caught my attention because of its flexibility and possibilities of interpreting lace design in a more artistic way. Then, Hinojosa lace came onto the scene and I was so attracted by this technique that I proposed to spread it. Russian and lately Renaissance laces have also attracted me and I have dedicated part of my time to these techniques. Of course, once I have assumed the “how to”, my next step has been always designing my own pieces, and trying another new type of laces
Books and patterns
Since 2001, Hinojosa has been my favorite lace overall laces. I was in love with this Spanish braid lace since ever and contributed to spreading it, self- publishing the books “Witchstitch lace I”, “Witchstitch lace II” and “Special fans” and "Spanish Braid Lace - HInojosa", worldwide.
